Our Journey
Catenary Home was born out of our founder, Wicksie Tu's, decade-long struggle to find the perfect furniture for her cat, Owen. Living together in New York for over ten years, Wicksie and Owen shared a small, urban space where every piece of furniture was on display. Owen was more than just a pet—he was a family member and roommate. Yet, every time Wicksie searched for cat products, the market offered options that compromised either functionality or style.
After moving to Austin, Texas, even with more space, the problem persisted. With New York roots and an Austin headquarters, Catenary Home was founded to ensure that you never have to sacrifice aesthetics for your cat's comfort. Our mission is to design pieces that cater to your cat's needs while reflecting a contemporary, design-forward lifestyle, allowing you and your cat to live comfortably in a space that feels uniquely yours.
